A: Cleaning and maintenance are summed up on these 2 simple steps (Please refer to your User Manual for more detailed cleaning instructions):

1.   All parts that come in contact to your body and breastmilk must be washed and cleaned every each use. These parts are the following:  silicone cushion, damper and inner parts, (cap plug, grid and seal ring), cap or lid, flange, membrane, valve, milk bottle, etc.  Wash these parts with a regular detergent and sterilize in boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes. Indoor Air Dry after washing. 

IMPORTANT:  

a.   Membrane must not be boiled or steamed too long to avoid aging.  

b.   The Breast Pump contains very small parts such as membrane, etc. that can easily be misplaced or lost. The Breast pump will not function effectively and may lose suction power if these tiny parts are not present in the assembly.

2.   Parts that do not come in contact with your body or the breast milk can be cleaned once a week and does not require sterilization or boiling. These parts are the following:  flange cover, tubing, inner cap plug, bottle stands, bottle cap converter.  Indoor Air Dry after washing and store properly. Flange must be air dried to function properly.
